Melody and Verse
Sometimes I just want to write,
Let my pen soar and take flight.
Other times I'll let the music take me away;
It's something new and different every day.
Your words need to touch someone's heart,
Someone's soul.
Sometimes, you need to rip them apart,
Not leave them whole.
Melody and verse, the most perfect pair,
It's like there's something in the air,
That makes me move and feel alive;
For that perfect song, I always thrive.
Writing is a beautiful release,
Just let yourself go.
Feel the stress decrease,
And just let it flow.
Let the words come to you,
Like a kid to a candy store.
Let the magic seep through,
And always leave them wanting more!
