Melody
Within the notes am I
Strummed by you and your precious guitar
Your fingers touch me and I am lovely
Listen as I soften your soul
As you touch my family and I
We sound lovable chords for you to hear.
And if you close your eyes for me
I’ll walk through your mind
Singing to you in harmony and blissful notes
Allow me to move the butterflies that swim within you
With my precious sounds
And my lovely melody.
We move to a place where only beauty resides
You and I and your guitar
Strumming the majestic chords of love
Share me you must with others
So all can feel the magic you touch
The lovely voice of music.
I desire the feel of your fingers upon me
For this I’ll drive beautiful emotions within you
In your mind, I will pleasure you
And touch your soul to excitement
Within your gentle strum I sing
To the beauty, you have created.
So now, I ask of you one thing
A gift to explain me to the lives you touch
Each time we are together
Each time your fingers move over me
Give me a name so all can know
And I will bring beauty to their souls.
With your touch we become
In unity you and I
As your fingers strum your guitar
And I sing to your mind sweet love
You brought me into your existence
And called me melody.
