Melancholy Beauty of Fall

The
air’s chill
grows stronger.
I wrap myself
in melancholy
as crisp nights grow longer.

As summer’s magic fades,
sunsets paint skies red.
Soon multi-hued 
bright leaves to
earth will
fall
