Meine Gedanken Im Schlaf

Leben.

MY THOUGHTS IN SLEEP

In the deepest timelessness I am,
And by me stands the pulsing stone,
He speaks with me through darkness deep
Polished ice on the fallen snowflakes drop.

A glittering heavenly light over rolling fields
Innumerable trees illuminate.
As with inflexible problems of mundane life
Mankind expends his energy,
While inhaling deep from nature’s breath.

The eternal balance of elemental life goes on,
& From within the earth’s bowels deep, groans emanate,
to impart to me life’s verity.

This is a beautifully profound write, Joe! I'd taken a meditation course, and a stone had been one of our objects. It had been far more than just cold lifeless rock. Much like you, it did "impart to me life's verity".:) Oh, you are such an intriguingly intense man! Best wishes, Love, Mikki

Thank you for providing the translation, Joe. The images are incredible! Some of the German words are easily translatable. There is another writer here, Gert Knop, who provides German and Spanish translations. We readers are learning from both of you now! Love, Carolyn
