Measured In Gold

Why can't you see what's happening
You keep those blinders on
You stater the fences
You put up defenses
Of oddities complied in stone
Yet you look all around
And none can be found
Mercies have not yet been honed
Why I spy all around me
And everything I see
In none glittered, and solid not poured
Remember in wealth everything
Not always measured in Gold
