Meant To Be
Flowers blooming and birds singing,
a gentle breeze blows against the wind,
watching the leaves dancing in the air,
not a single cloud is visible in the sky.
Dancing underneath the swaying trees,
holding onto each other as closely as possible,
feeling the heat of the sun setting on our skin,
nothing else matters to us in this time and place.
As we softly hold onto each other close,
we listen carefully as our hearts beat as one,
together so full of tender love and life,
we couldn't imagine a better place to be.
Two hearts tied together as one,
rings of promise and vows of honesty,
as I take you and you take me,
we say yes and seal it with a kiss,
and as we look into each others eyes,
we knew that this was meant to be.
