Meaningless Happiness

Looking in the mirror
I peer into my soul
Who am I now?
How did I get here?
I fear I'm lost
Tossed into this world like nothing
Something worthless
Like I'm worth less than bread
And I dread tomorrow
Sorrow overpowers my will
To go on
Is hope gone?
How can I carry on
Like this?
I miss sanity
Vanity created this life
Now strife is abundant
In my world
Hurled me into darkness
An abyss of absentness
Meaningless happiness
Confessing its inablilities
As we have known
And it has shown
But must we keep prooving it?
We're losing time
With redundant proofs
Of this truth
Time is better spent productively
If ppl could see that
They would be that much happier.
