Meaningful Existence
Before, I was curious of my existence-certainty
As my soul sought for eternal security
To overcome feeling of being empty
Since I must admit burdensome iniquity
Imprisoning me around sense of vanity
Fortified upon worthlessness and futility---
Oh, I yearned to escape from this woe’s intensity…
Drawing near to God*, confessing that I am guilty
My heart is blest with freedom’s purity
Toward meaningful existence along blissful serenity
Having received pardon and gracious divinity
Granted with everlasting life’s verity
Marked by sublime surety beyond immortality---
Yes, I praise the Lord for His compassion’s bounty!!!
Grateful for the Saviour’s triumphant liberty
My spirit rejoices in His assurance-immutability
Driving me to fulfill my roles along faith-propped duty
Toward Gospel declaration and ministerial acts’ propensity
Sharing His love, grace, peace, mercy sans scarcity
As His steward mindful of spirituality’s accountability---
Now, I live for HIM with joyous existence, radiating vibrant beauty.
*James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.
