Meaning
Don't ask yourself why,
because you will never find out.
You might keep spinning around this question for ever,
getting more and more confused.
You might blame yourself, because that seems the most likely explanation.
That it was all your fault. That it was you who ruined everything.
I could have done this, I could have said that, I shouldn't have done this, I shouldn't have said that.
Don't ask yourself why,
because some things will never make sense.
All good things will end, there is no way around it.
Learn to accept that and you'll learn not to hold on too tight.
Learn to live in the moment, don't fear tomorrow.
Nothing is certain, at least that is for sure.
The only moment that counts is the one that you are experiencing right now.
Don't ask yourself why,
stop thinking, just be. Be yourself, because who are you going to fool anyway, other than yourself? Can you really be anyone else but you? For how long? Is it worth it?
Is it all games? Does everybody want to play? Do you want to?
Who or what keeps you from stepping away?
There are treasures everywhere for you to discover.
But they are not for you to keep.
Don't ask yourself why,
because you don't need to. You don't need someone to answer to you.
You don't need wisdom. You don't need explanations. You don't need someone who understands. You don't need approval.
You need to find peace, you need to find strength, you need to find love. You need to find everything.
