Meandering Thru Life

I’m cavorting freely on sun splashed shores
Gotta put on sunscreen

I’m searching for treasure dug up long ago
To bury it again

The light of the candles brings warmth to my soul
Blow them out

A new day is dawning on the horizon
Bring on the night

A champagne haze clouds my reality
Keep filling my glass

The music in the air is the rhythm of my heart
I’m offbeat

Fading memories dyed a different hue
I gotta get my roots done

My security blanket got lost with my childhood
I want my Mommy

I do whatever my heart desires
Which is nothing
