Mean People Frighten Me
Shiny things attract me.
Gloomy people subtract me.
Fluffy things delight me.
Mean people frighten me.
Well behaved children adore me.
Out of control hurt children deplore me.
Until I get to know their pain.
And show them I am safe and sane.
It is my job to respect them to pieces.
I practiced on my nephews and nieces.
I practiced on my children, and grands.
I feel I am living my best laid plans.
Terrible moods challenge me.
Make me think, shake up my tree.
Calmed-down people are my bliss.
It is great to live like this.
