Me With Hose VS Squirrel


Have planted a lovely garden this year, 
that I totally revere and hold dear;
but a squirrel likes it too,
he licks off the summer dew ...
so, I wait each morn' . . .  for him to appear !

Congratulations on your win. I enjoyed reading your cute Limerick write. What a great picture. As a kid, I lived where I tamed a wild squirrel. I put a peanut on the end of a Popsicle stick. He would take it off, then eat it. Everyday after school he was looking for me. Have a fun day writing away....................

How funny and cute this Limerick is, Constance! I can imagine you with hose in hand at the ready :) We have no squirrels in Malta, but I met several abroad and they used to come 'begging' me to share my goodies. ~ Best regards // paul
