Me, She, and the Garden

eye contact across a crowded room
she smiles knowingly, enjoying my attention
I step unto the terrace illuminated by the moon
silverish glow and velvet pitch in contention
the garden below; perfect seclusion
a winding path leading into infinite sable
her scent engulfs me, a prelude to her anticipated intrusion
raven tresses adorn the princess of my fable
skin... the softest mahogany, lips of peach
her eyes... windows to heavens gate
heights I've yearned to attain are now within reach
her hand touches mine, our lips brush as if it's fate
higher than the constellation of Orion
Gemini lovers dance across the sky
"I've waited my whole life for this, Brian"
she whispers has the stars twinkle by
