Me and You

Me and you might be through, But that don’t change my mind, We had that special something once, It vanished over time, It was probably me or maybe you, But just who here could say, If God would grant me just one wish, I’d go back to that day, The day I Left or day I stayed, I just can’t decide, I was alone for eight long months, Girl I almost died, I lost you while I was there, Or maybe up at school, But any guy who’d let you go, Would have to be a fool, You cheated me as I did you, So which one do we blame, But I was smart and left behind, My life and so called shame, You can’t forgive what I done, Nor can I forget, You cheated me twice as much, And this might be the end, But now we have a center ground, As our child is so great, So we stay friends to the end, For our daughters sake,
