Me and Philly
He say he was blessing the game
How well i knew his name
Me and Philly
We walked the city blocks
Dropping crack rocks
Three dollar shoppers
Rattled and clanged
I got some change
A bit to stay insane
My good man
Better then the stuff time before last
He grinned as he knew
It was temporary relief
From their permanent disease
I see
The rock so sweet
it destroys everything
My house and home
Veins shattered
lungs battered
When you take a light
you take a flight
How down can you go?
Sad to say many die this way
the price varies
but it always must be paid
with your life body and mind
