Me and My Shadow

I still love you despite all that’s transpired since you betrayed me. Once you were by my side; now your pillow is empty. Sad and sweet, nicely written...Fun share: I chose this poem because we have 3 new kittens (cats now) at my horse farm and one of them likes to follow me around, so I named him Shadow:)

Sad and beautiful. I like especially, that is the writer's shadow and not the loved one's that remains.

This is a challenging form, however you pulled it off nicely, very sad but said succinctly. Title reminds me of my can't escape my shadow poem. Well done!
