Me and My Drink

It's just me and my drink right now I'm going to use this pen to express what I think right now But for all of this pain in my heart, I don't think there's enough ink right now It's just me and my drink right now My shoulders are heavy and this Liquor helps to drop the weight We drink it, but no one likes how Vodka tastes I genuinely loved her, But I lost my babe I need to stop falling in love with a girl because of their Body shape Isn't it sad that you can drink enough and forget about the night before But you can't drink enough to forget about the people you love and miss And once you wake up in the morning You realise your problems still exist I could lie and say I'm past it, but truthfully I'm still going through it My life is a disaster, but I try and dress it up by adding a poem to it Times when I'm doing well and feeling okay are my hardest poems to write I'm unsure if I'm the light in the darkness, or if the darkness is my light I'd rather Spread love than shed blood Anytime my wounds opened I Bled love I won't be intimidated No matter who's around The Lion didn't become king of the jungle by backing down When my heart was broke my mind was numb Thankfully I'm Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather and Anthony Joshua combined in one I never lost a real friend, so I'm not focused on who left If you keep paying for the same mistakes you'll end up with a few debts I've faced my hardest obstacles with nothing but a drink by my side I've lost a few rounds I'll admit that and lose my pride I've made it too far to quit and that's not in the plans I'm more confident after, but I'll make it even if I don't have a drink in my hand It's just me and my drink right now I'm going to use this pen to express what I think right now But for all of this pain in my heart I don't think there's enough ink right now It's just me and my drink right now
