Maybe You Like To Talk Too Much About Yourself

Maybe you like to talk too much about yourself
Maybe our relationship was over before it started
Maybe you should have known that
A one-sided relationship won’t win
The warning signs were there from the beginning
You spoke too much about the past
You spoke too much about the pain
Maybe I was just the figure for your past situation

Ironically, you spoke so much about the fabric of love
But none of it was really true
Despite our context
I thought you were beautiful
You brought excitement to my life!
The Sunday morning our views were different
But at least we both know what to do right next time!

I hope your next man
Will be the one that stays
Because you are worth it
But remember, a relationship is about two people!
You spoke too much about the past
You spoke too much about the pain
