May Ne'Er Be the Same

Whatever happens in this world
The sun will rise
The moon will set
However bad our life may seem
These natural wonders must ne’er forget
The sea ~ her tides they come and go
For mother nature makes it so
And as I watch the super moon
Exquisite in the sky above
She shines upon our mother earth
A beacon of hope
A beacon of love
Twinkling stars are sparkling down
Smiling all the while
Sprinkling us with stardust
We emerge from the abyss
For so surreal our lives have been
Ne’er thought we’d ever get through this
Yet one day maybe
One day soon
Looking skywards at the moon
Our lives our hopes they may return
Though lives and wishes may ne’er be the same
For those we’ve lost whilst we still remain
She'll shower us in her moonlight glow
As our life will return to a life we may know

Written 6th April 2020 as I gaze at the sheer beauty of tonight’s Super Moon…

Ann, what a glorious message of hope. The moon's rays have that effect, don't they? Sadly Janet and I missed our full moon date this month because our sky here was completely covered in clouds. Clouds can be beautiful too, but we were sorry to have missed the super moon. Thank you for this, my Sky Friend. Hugs ~ John

Awww bless you sweet friend for your truly encouraging words dearest Panagiota - thank you so much. I sat up writing this until the early hours and I am so pleased you liked it. I had sat on my balcony gazing at the majestic super moon ~ I could truly not take my eyes off her exquisite beauty and then I wrote my poem. Wishing you both well. With kindest thoughts Ann xx
