May Bliss Be Our Refrain
All that is manifest is doomed to die
But something within tells us there is more
Beyond the heavens, soul wishes to fly
Heart’s momentary joy seeks an encore
That in zenith like rapture, it may soar
All this can be ours, that too without strain
If heart’s innate innocence we restore
Our consciousness retrain, bliss its refrain
It’s high time we bid lower mind goodbye
We ail, we fail and silence is the cure
With firm resolve, fears and desires decry
Cave of heart is open, let us explore
God’s love and light, in fullness of splendour
That layer by layer, we may ingrain
Love’s sublime fragrance, ancients adore
Our consciousness retrain, bliss its refrain
The story we have been fed is a lie
We’re God’s light, as spoken of in folklore
Behold in silence, scent of love draw nigh
Soma nectar drips, hear ye not its roar
As magnetism doth, inner light restore
Transforming us as that, that has no name
All this and more, if as we said before
Our consciousness retrain, bliss its refrain
There is no constraint and there is no door
God’s bountiful blessings fall down like rain
Hermit, let’s get to the truth at its core
Our consciousness retrain, bliss its refrain
