"Today"

dear diary....well let me stop that ****
i'm addicted to the laugh and i just can't quit
i mean, you can call me sexist, but diaries are for girls
i can only speak for me and that's how it is in my world
but to each his own, do what you do
i am no judge, and all i write is true
you see, i see so much trouble on this Earth
in case you don't, i still take it for what it's worth
and that's a one way ticket to a place none want to see
are you strong enough to be yourself, or let others lead you to misery
i've done bad things in my past, and maybe more are to come
but each day i TRY to be better, otherwise i am dumb
but where am i going with this, i am just high listening to music
when in need of inspiration, you can always use it
like what the cavilers just did to boston
buy them boys a broom if that happens often
and i still miss that little purple soldier for truth
to be honest, i have been his fan since my youth
and now, at this point, you can call me middle aged
that means i am past the point of just going though a phase
i just want to help us all and still have some fun
that's why i Go With God so i won't need a gun
the end has begun, yet so many don't know it
just look around, the state of the world will show it
i'm not simply a poet or anything like that
i am a wordsmith, that is actual fact
with that being said, i hope i didn't take too much of your time
God Blessed us all, just a little Wisdom for the mind....
