May

T'was like autumn at May, Where the sun vaguely sprinkled Its delightful rays At the tree which bore Thy love that reigned And shed its leaves Like drops of rain. T'was like autumn at May, When the wind blew Chilling the colors out of you Where the rain slowly simmered The misery it conveyed Like how our love slowly died In the cold winter winds of hate. We fell out of love, On that month we call 'May'.
