Matthew Six Six
Sometimes when we pray, it's best to follow Matthew 6:6
"close your door," pray as locked in a room of bricks.
"Pray to your Father, who sees in secret,"
focus on God who all, hath created.
"Will reward you openly," that's a promise!
hence prayers answered, oh! true, true bliss.
Naturally, it's good to pray always
when in need, He is our compass;
Keep the faith, never give up on hope
for all is given, He won't say "nope".
So keep this passage, love it to heart
remember it's our honesty, to Him we depart;
find consolation, find promises, so ever true
fear not, cry not, you'll never be blue.
Have faith, trust Him, never stop praying
even for the slightest, He will surely remain;
till the End, keep your focus up on High
have courage, He'll protect you, as the days go by.
* Matthew 6:6 states:
"But you, when you pray, go into your room
and when you have shut your door
pray to your Father who is in the secret place
and your Father, who sees in secret
will reward you openly."
Amen!
