Math Test

Normally a wake up call will do Chance favors the mind prepared A math quiz waits for an idiot in class The university is an hour away by helicopter Einstein begins his calculations over time Over a bottle of morning whiskey in a cup An hour late is an hour lost as he wakes up Why not steal a car, a Plymouth with some gas The student hits a guard rail at 90 mph going fast Mountain cliffs are high. Canyon roads are hard The brakes work fine but acceleration is more fun How fast was he traveling to class when he went over No longer will he have to answer stupid questions Whatever was left inside that head fried to a crisp A bolt of lightning strikes him dead before he lands Or did he die while suspended in mid air In suspended animation for that split second Was it an act of God and nature or an accident The one of being born an idiot We must do the math before we go to class
