Math Parody
This is another parody of a hymn! This time the hymn is "When the Roll is Called Up Yonder". No, I am not in school, but math class often brought me to tears!
When the bell of school is ringing,
and it's time for math to start,
And the numbers make my head spin real fast;
When the teacher starts his lecture
over on the lesson board,
And the lesson plans are shouting, come to hell!
And the algebra is mocking
And the algebra is mocking
And the algebra is mocking,
And the algebra is mocking, come to hell!
On the homework long and tedious,
when the lesson leaves my brain,
and I forgot what the teacher shared in class,
When answer book isn't helpful
and the eraser rips the page
And the algebra is mocking, come to hell!
And the algebra is mocking
And the algebra is mocking
And the algebra is mocking
And the algebra is mocking, come to hell!
I can learn this lesson for math,
from class to class again.
I just need it slowed down to let it sink in,
When much review is happened
And I have cried my tears,
And the algebra is mocking, come to hell!
And the algebra is mocking
And the algebra is mocking
And the algebra is mocking,
And the algebra is mocking, come to hell!
