Woe unto the fleshly love That is wooed by glitter And the erotic and erratic appetite to have That leaves the heart bitter Money and possessions King Solomon's glory and plunder Expensive sin and obsessions The flesh doesn't cease to ponder But Solomon is famed for wisdom Even in the light of wealth and notoriety And a God chosen kingdom His cause was of divine sobriety I tell you that the feel of want is Godly And it's satisfaction ye endeavor to find That you may revere it fondly And with your essence it blends and binds
