Masterpeace of Me

I've took this beat down
Years and years over
I've took my home in the dark
Accepted my fate
No unicorns no mermaids no make believes
My reality the sins of my past
The mistakes my leadership
I've tried to close my eyes and pray for a change
Wanted forgiveness for being me
When my heart tries to lead my brain follows fear
Force feed my regrets till i vomit rage
A sickness i cant control
An addiction to the negative
A drug with no positive
The smoke so thick
The mask permanent
How does one heal
How does one see some type of light
The answer more of a question to me
When the world you see has no color
Can i pick up the brush of change and create the color i seek
Time is the canvas i just hope the masterpiece of me can still be discovered.
