"mash"

Hawkeye has always been my favorite on the show.. His fast humor and love for life never let me go.. Pranks and joking spilled into my ways... My friends and I would gather to watch every day... As the same as me Hawkeye would cover up despair with fast wit and humor.. Teasing a room mate or a start of a silly rumor... A poker game with drinks and friends... As I emulated the same with some drunken binges.. His huge heart for healing and not accepting death.. His critical voice of this horrible war portrayed in length... Hidden behind humor and script the message got across.. Such a wonderful show of war and friendships at any cost..

A great poem on a truly fun show! I loved Hawkeye, too, but Radar has a special place in my heart. And there did seem to be a "message" behind the humor in most episodes. Good luck in the contest, Michael! Love, Carolyn
