Mary Susan and Emily
This is a story about three ladies
Mary, Susan, and Emily were their names
at a Scottish airport, they did meet
their flights were canceled was to blame
Mary was a Scots widow of a few years
she fought depression, her life was hard
never thought that marriage would happen again
negatively minded always on her guard
Susan from the land of the free
sadly divorced but with a bright outlook
positive that love would return again
put her time into writing many a book
Emily a lovely English lady rose
engaged recently feeling full of spring
having quiet disposition of lovely nature
lover of poetry like Emily D. sweetness brings
Little room spare at the coffee shop
so the ladies had a table to share
they soon chatted getting on well
felt real bond as one so very rare
M, S, and R shared their lives
feeling loving care for each one
real sympathy developed together
promised to text regular all good fun
A canceled flight was divinely sent
drawing three lovely gals to really unite
a lifetime of friendship was in store
each one now knew a future so bright
(This is a fictional piece that came to my mind one day on how providence sometimes changes our lives in many ways.)
