Mary

My frozen breath filled the air,
and passed behind as I reached
and touched her raven hair.
She turned her head and smiled.

Mary, will you go with me I said
and she said yes
and gazed happy with her big brown eyes.
I turned to red and smiled.

Later that night I walked on frozen air,
stars so bright,
stars that night,
Tomorrow’s a fantastic day.

I know that feeling, David! Nothing in the world can compare! God is love we were told from early childhood! I believe that absolutely-an indescribable feeling of joy! Great write! Thanks for the comment on my vignette! And for wishing me luck! Peace and love, Audrey Happy New Year!
