Mary

A moment in time frozen in my mind a younger you standing at the cusp of summer Wind in your hair, light in your eyes that rippling laughter that gave itself away to me, ... Beneath two loving arms fleshy dough rose as we gathered in the kitchen and spoke... How I long today to hear your voice again, while those busy hands showed me how to knead and gather, your heart was full of say... Time has taken away your health, today I wish I could stop the hour glass from sifting ALS has taken its tole on you, Mary bit by bit it is taking you away, from those you love Oh how i wish that you could stay, for forever and a day... Frozen in my mind, like you were yesterday !

Such a beautiful poem. Your sister is blessed to have you in her corner. Pain and suffering does not go on forever, I feel certain...I like to think that, such deep, abiding love will. Blessings my friend.

Rose, a touching a sad but beautiful poem. I'm thinking how grief is part of everything. We can never get time back and things and people do go by. You've made me cry and smile at the same time as you have captured the essence of life's experience here. You have such a kind heart.
