I am so glad to hear of your friend! I understand that Williams was found to have Lewy Body disease which causes a type of dementia... poor man. I think all America loved him.

Oh, I didn't know that he had Lewy Body disease. So, if he had dementia, then... I guess he could have despaired of all hope. Poor soul!!! Thanks for the information and the education, P.S! :) gw

Yes, you are so right, nette. And I've recently watched a few clips of some shows from 1973-74--WOW! 'Out-of-this-world' funny. R.W. was a comedic master---and a fine 'serious actor' to boot. Thanks for the encouragement. :) gw

What fun that show was! A strange spin off from “Happy Days” I think...but can’t imagine now how that worked! Felt punched when I heard of Robin Williams death... He was genius and brightened our lives with his talented antics.

Wow. Me, too. Felt as if I had been sucker-punched in the stomach! ... In Robin's case, his death was esp. tragic because he ended things himself. He didn't have to: I had a college friend who was depressed for 21 years (!), age 40 - 61, and now he's living a wonderful life. Robin, you shouldn't have....

Hi Gershon, I enjoy the re-runs of this show. Robin Williams was one of my favorite comedians/ actors:-) Alexis

Oh, aren't they just terrific?! Have you watched the one in which Mindy's jealous of Robin going out on a date and asks him for a blow-by-blow account. It's to die for... :) gw

"annoyingly normal" always seems to bother poets, for an unknown reason. Maybe because they do not inspire more than one poem?

Just love your comment, Caren. I'm going to frame it and hang it on the wall---to make sure that I don't fall into the trap you've mentioned! :) gw
