Marriage Number 2

when we met
                                             I thought,
                                         it had to be you
                                       that would become
                                      spouse number two.
I thought it was love when
                                           I said, "I Do".
                                   What you thought it was
                                           I hadn't a clue!
                                           But I found out
                                          what you wanted
                                              was a maid
                                            and a mother,
                                           someone to bed,
                                      couldn't catch any other.
                                             If I knew then
what I know now to be true,
                                           I'd have gone to a
                                               sperm bank
                                         and forgot about you!
