Mark Twain

American humorist and writer, Mark Twain
born as Samuel Clemens, his name in history does not wane.
He attacked Big Business with “The Gilded Age.”
An observant journalist as well, Twain was very sage.

Hey buddy. Kinda "Gutsy" considering the FAN atics associated with that 'Connecticut Yankee'. The sheer breath of his political stirrings extant might 'Throw-up' still, some Controversy/s, especially in the present attention we're called back to as "The Race Question/s". ~ Not Great America but sad America again. He stayed in my hometown Muscatine, Ia. as a journalist for a bit of time, and there is a plaque where he overlooked the Mississippi river and said that our town had the prettiest Sunsets. I love that. Also I visited the cave that the Mark Twain story was inspired by in Hannibal, Mo. The guy was born during Halley's Comet. it only comes around every 75 years or so. He predicted that he would die with it as well, and he did!! So incredible.

A contemporary philosopher that I've expressed some interest in elsewhere suggested that Twain was mocking "Victorian Values" but safely because it was already socially-defunct meaning it was powerless to offer up any arguments.

He was a product of his time but he was blunt, truthful and non racist

a major writer of american litterature, a great one, i have read all his works ' novels and philosophical ( "une histoire américaine" in french) so much to think and learn, enjoyed your homage , a brilliant man for sure thanks Andrea poet
