Marital Missbliss

what can i do to bring you nearer is it as simple as a red rose or as hard as crying real tears so many things i do go unread and the loving part of your soul goes unfed but in my daily tribute to you some things i do just because i love you dreaming of you may not be much but in my dreams my magic is your touch the hug and kiss you give they're the things that make me live and in my prayers just to live for another day you are the cause and the reason i pray when i rise and go to work there is no toil or going berserk during my day i think of you and before i know it my day is through everyday that i come home i thank the Lord that you are home you may not hear my silent prayer but believe me dearest they are there my pockets maybe empty and my hair might be uncombed but believe in me darling and i'll never leave you alone my love for you might go unseen but believe me when i say you are my everything

John, I'm sure your love does not "go unseen." If you show her this sweet poem, she'll know exactly how you feel. Women are not as complicated as men seem to think they are. Sometimes we just need an overture like this to bring the feelings to light. Best wishes, Carolyn

Dear John: Am printing your poems, but my earlier comments have been deleted. This is such a beautiful, love filled write. I feel really special. I can feel your emotions really well in it. Love, Janice Herzog xoxo

What sad sweet sentiment in your words, John. I love the opening lines in this. So much true emotion. Great work, my friend! Am I really a poetry warrior, John? I know I've been posting like a mad woman lately! And this is my 1,500 comment since I got here! Thanks for sharing with this warrior. (lol)! Love, Robin

John, you are clearly as "Loving" as your name implies. Some poems use abundant images, but somehow I seem to miss their points. Not so with your fine work. Thanks for your comments on "Too Fast for Me." Carolyn
