Marilyn Gets Tricked

Marilyn Gets Tricked By Elton Camp Halloween is typically a night of petty crime But it can also provide entry to a ball of slime For a psycho, costumed throngs provide cover To someone who of violence is a twisted lover To give sweets to kids Marilyn found a delight But another knock came a bit late that night She opened the door and then gasped in fear At the leering adult she saw standing near “I have enough sweets and don’t need more” Is what he said as he shoved through the door Marilyn’s terrified scream didn’t raise alarm For Halloween is a night dedicated to harm So if you celebrate Halloween, better beware Since you never know who’s standing there
