March Blessings

March is a month of miracles,
St. Patriick's Day guests.

The month of leprechauns and shamrocks,
The luck of the Irish.

The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow,
Luck and good wishes.

Birthdays , my youngest son March 5,
What a blessing and miracle.

Elvis diamond look, a handsome appearance,
Married his school sweetheart.

University educated, the kindest son you could imagine,
Brought me a Pointsetta at Christmas.

I will always remember his beautiful hug,
He was my escort to the Teacher's Federation dinner.

I was photographed with the Director of Education,
Awarded for my twenty-five years of teaching.

His handsome father has a birthday on March 20,
Happy Birthday to you both.
