A splendid acrostic, Michelle, hailing the advent of March. March came in like a lion here in Col Springs - about 5 inches of snow and more on the way! Brrrrrr! Thx for taking time to read the nonsensical question posed in my Sponges in the Sea thing. Best to you - Bob

'Ribald thief of restrained relief' = the month of March that I know in Chicago... This year I'm hoping for the 'mercurial minx' to bring those daffodils (or tulips) a bit early... Hope 'springs' eternal, they say. Poetically penned acrostic! ~ Gershon

Thank you, Gershon (that was my favorite line too) looks like Chicago is getting more winter, according to the news - hang in there!

I love the idea of the, "Hale blown heather" tickling "the daffodils' flaxen dress." A great March acrostic.
