Many Ways I Am Blessed
I have a family, friends, pets, and a career that I adore.
My dogs are my biggest challenges. One is old. The other is a chewer.
My children have graced me with ten grandchildren. They are a delight.
I can entertain myself. I write poems, draw cartoons, and paint paintings.
No one has to entertain me; I am busy most of the day, delighting myself.
I have a fine life; my car and my house were recently paid off.
This is such a blessing; and I am no longer a fanatical shopper.
The pandemic proved to me that I do not have to shop daily.
It forced me to save money, something I had never done before the pandemic.
I have not gotten sick, even though many of my friends have. I think I am lucky.
God has saved me from car wrecks more than one time.
I have totaled cars and walked away, without a scratch.
I have hurt myself badly, been in a wheel chair, and learned to walk again.
This lesson was a reminder of how lucky I am that I have two walking legs.
I appreciate my life, for I have had some bad times, but these are good now.
