#5 Motivational Series - Regarding overcoming child abuse and trauma



Many Chances

Many years have passed with all the chances you have had
To speak the truth and bring healing to your children feeling sad
Instead you watch them suffer, manipulate them when they are weak
Even as they are adults, you deny the answers they seek
Always acting day to day, as if you have the final call
While they walk around feeling empty, hidden behind a wall
I gave up trying long ago, but I still have faith and hope
One day you can speak truth to those who are trying to cope
A chance to be real, free yourself from the bondage of lies
For the sky is wide open waiting for anyone who flies
This life is a gift, a chance, a span of time with opportunity
To live and love fully and with that truth, bring unity!

I am writing a motivational series for a bit to reach out to other victims of childhood abuse and trauma, to help validate them , because it should not happen and is far too common as well.
