Many Are the Wonders of Our Endless Universe
Discover what is unseen, too distant
to gaze at from the four corners;
there are hundreds of universes
with planets and constellations
that Galilei couldn't have imagined...
neither do we staring at them!
See another comet shoot across
the sparkling sky with a speed and luminosity
that amazes the eyes and soul;
we wonder if someone has lost
a wonderful love that couldn't be
held in fragile hands and faithless heart!
Many are the wonders
of our endless universe,
we pick the closest star
to realize a few dreams
and the rest lie in idle forgetfulness...
unless someone discovers them
and proclaims them
with an exuberant victory;
we could have been part of it,
if we had looked farther
and showed more patience and curiosity!
