Manic

From the get go I had no where to run,
sleeping my life away at the hand of drugs.

Then out of the blue she contacted me,
a friend request, that would seem as a plea.

We texted back and forth for quite some time,
to ignore her would seem like such a crime.

Then a phone call arose from the same day,
all emotions put at bay.

Now we chat almost non-stop I almost panic,
excited with joy and holding back manic.

I hope to meet this wonderful girl,
and see what events unfurl.
