Mama Says

Mama says that those-
Those little white boys
Go each and every day
In the small white building
With the big golden t
Hanging from the windowsill.
I believe those boys are perfect.

Mama says that those-
Those days of me believing
Everything would be alright
That it would get better
Those days are gone.
And I believe it's true.

Mama says that those-
Those boys who tease me
Laugh at me for being who I am
A filthy, rotten Jew
Those boys are mean.
But I still believe every word they say.

Mama says that those-
Those preachers of the cross
Say that I'm going to go to hell.
For being Jewish.
But I do not believe a word.
For I've been there my whole life.
