Mama Said Don' T Be Afraid of the Dark

"I was four she was 25 Mama will look at me into my eyes She said boy you have to realize Life is cruel and it's no surprise Cuz you see I was afraid of the dark She refused to leave the night light on in my bedroom I was afraid of the dark I will look at the Moon in the street lights Mama said don't be afraid Look into the dark and don't be dismayed Speak the light as life Marches On always Mama says Don't Be afraid of the dark Speak into the night open your eyes and witness the light The light that's inside the dark"
