Mama Said

My mama said wash behind your ears Though I never knew anybody to look She said to eat all my vegetables But that's all she would ever cook Make sure you have on clean underwear In case you're in a wreck And everytime she'd tell me this I was thinkin', "What the heck?" She'd say wash those crusty elbows And never pick your nose But whenever she wasn't looking In my finger goes Don't forget to brush your teeth Or you'll look like your grandpa there I thought she meant I'd be senile And maybe not have any hair The things my mama told me Was confusing as can be I was way too young to understand I was only twenty-three

ha ha, great poem Larry. I was expecting your age to be three, but twenty-three was so much funnier ~ Sharon :)
