Mama, I've Finally Met an Honest Man

Mama, I’ve finally met an honest man
He says he’s full of faults
He admits no way he can

NOT keep his lusting eyes off my body, and
figures I can’t possibly be interested in him…

And mama, he works two jobs while
taking care of his invalid parents
when they sleep, he runs errands

O, mama, I’ve fallen in love so madly
I want to give myself to him so badly

Don’t be fooled, dear. You’re just glad he
kind of reminds you of your last daddy
                        who, you may remember
~ they hauled away in a paddy*

LOL! Don’t need to start with imperfections…lol. Those kiddies still won’t know what a paddy-wagon is! I gave my 20 year old granddaughter the clue…an artist that painted Starry Night…blank stare, no blinking…lol

I guess a paddy-wagon is too small to fit all the gang members who show up at these Flash Mob events.

Hey....enough with the Irish humor. I had to explain the "Paddy wagon" to the high school teachers. they were appalled by such ethnic cruelty
