Malaysians Today
Malaysians Today
There are times I wonder if we are real Malaysians...
There are migrants and there are immigrants...
Then you have locals and there are natives...
And we all know there are new Malaysians....
Whose looks and interactions are so alien...
But, don't be surprised where and when there are new Malaysians...
They have the latest IC, they religiously fly the BN flag and Jalur Gemilang...
West Malaysians need a passport and yearly passes to be in Sabah...
While the new Malaysians, they freely crisscross the porous borders...
Seems all too true, Malaysia Boleh, anything can happen.....
Laws are subjectively applied to fit the situation...
And politicians, they complicate every possible solution...
Playing up sentiments of divisive influences from race and religion...
Money and corruption are partners in crime hindering development...
And if things are not bad enough, there are kidnappings across the seas...
And there have been documented incidents of intrusion from illegal entries...
While true Malaysians grapple with the higher cost of living and weakening money...
We are also tormented by the spectre of communal distrust and religious disharmony...
That's Malaysia Boleh, the Land of Possibilities for Malaysians Today...
