Making Waves,

A ripple riding a wave,
A slave to the terrain,
Trained to the surface,
It's losing its purpose,
Getting lost within service,
Searching for reason,
Remaining a beacon,
Through a dark stormy season,
Something to believe in,
Beaten by everyone,
For saying we are one,
Believed by none,
Finally getting it done,
Running into the shade,
The ripple fades,
Cascading into freedom,
Leaving words to teach them,
Hidden gems to treasure,
In this world forever,
A pebble in every letter,
It's better to make the wave,
Then become its slave.
