And so it’s make your mind up time, right here in the U.K. I guess you’ll get the same thing soon, in the U.S. of A Candidates will waffle on each night and every day The gullible will swallow every single word they say For the won’ts then will and the wills then won’t While the don’ts all do ad the dos all don’t And some veer left and some veer right And some will talk like black is white It’s yes means no and no means yes And less means more and more means less No wonder we’re in such a mess When their true views we can but guess In this campaign that’s laden with Paid saboteurs and nobblers Integrity means my vote goes To he who answered, “Cobblers!” ————————————————————————————— [Only Nigel Farage would answer a stupid question with A plain, simple “Cobblers”. Indeed, he did just that in Interview with the BBC’s Nick Robertson. Go, Nigel!]

I’m dreading the election going the way that is being forecast. A single party with no possibility of being outvoted EVER… is in no-one’s interest. I’d consider moving but the whole world appears to be up the creek ;-)

Yes, indeed: 'Cobblers' it is! Love the way you 'cobbled' this poem together! ~ Sole Brother, gw

Thanks, G.W. When every politician on the planet struggles with any utterance that amounts to a straight ‘yes’ or ‘no’… I found ‘cobblers’ both amusing and refreshing ;-)

I’d sooner they won than the bunch of clueless goons that are currently favourites. Oh well… this time tomorrow we’ll know… God help us all

More like gobblers. They're all turkeys. Fun read, Terry.

Thanks, Lin. ‘Turkeys’ is about right…. The anticipated result of the UK election is enough to put the fear of God into an atheist.
