Making Memories
A picturesque day
fresh blanket of white powder
A journey, a quest to make memories
One, two,
skip a few,
ninety-nine, one hundred
racing up the steps
to the top of the hill
faster
hurry daddy !!
Toboggan in tow
Dad's too slow
Top of the hill
they're all finally there
Get in line and wait their turn
Enter the chute
One, two, three, four, and finally five
Down the slide they fly
what a rush, feeling so alive
The perfect memory
The perfect time
"Back to the top of the hill"
"I'll race you"
A smiling dad sighs
